how do u calculate your due date

Hi there, I'm a bit confused about how far on I am. I took a clear blue digital test on the 12 June and it said I was 1-2 weeks gone. I have been reading that the doctors using the date of the last period as a marker for measuring how far on, but I also know that I have ovulating on the 30th May which was obviously when conception was. My doctors appointment isnt have a few weeks. Im confused whether Im 5 weeks gone or 2 weeks. Can anyone clarify?

I agree. Go with the first day of your last menstrual period as a ballpark until you get an ultrasound. Early ultrasounds between 6 and 10 weeks past your last period tend to be most accurate in estimating actual age of your baby. Good luck.

Your doctor visit should be between 8- 10 weeks.

(Clear blue will date from conception, it doesn't include the extra 2 weeks)

Your Dr will base your timeframe on the date of your last period until you get a your first ultrasound and can measure the baby.  At that point they may adjust your due date.  If you know for sure when you ovulated (because you track your body temperature), then you can assume your due date will, eventually, end up as 38w from 30th May.

Never does. Try having a 1 year old and being pregnant. It's rough
