Anyone else with a bad cough?

So this past weekend I developed a bad cough. And now I can't sleep!  I have 7 days until my due date and I want to get better fast.  But when you're pregnant all you can take is Robitussin. And im sorry it doesn't do all that great.  Anyone else going through this?  Im up all night.  It's so annoying!  Plus I wet myself at times from the strain of coughing.  And that doesn't help either. I'm so over it all! I just want to go to sleep.  Any of you feeling this way too?

Really? Maybe I should try benodyrl. It's 1 am and im up coughing.  Its not severe but its still bad. It's more annoying than anything.  When I'm awake its not as bad. When I lay in bed even elevated I cough. I do have a dr appt.  Later today so I'll ask.  Thanks for the info.

I had a cough a few days ago. It wasn't super super bad but bad enough to keep me awake and disturb my hubby and two yr old's sleep. I ended up taking benedryl after the first night i took cough syrup that didn't help at all. The benedryl worked better than the cough syrup and put me to sleep. The list I got from the dr had more than just robitussin on it. Mine said Tylenol plus and vicks 44 plus a few others I can't think of now.
