Check with your doctor first. I went in for X-rays and a cleaning last week and they had to contact my doctor for an approval

In the second trimester it's safe.. I had a molar removed. You just have to get signed off by your ob.

I had one extracted at 17 weeks. You will have to get a clearance from your OB/GYN and give it to your dentist. They recommend to do anywhere from 17 to 20 weeks to bypass the earlier developments of the baby. At least that's what I was told. My dentist used another numbing medication besides the norm because they aren't allowed to because it crosses the placenta. They work kind of quick with the other numbing medication because it wears off fast. I hope all works out for you!

You should get doctors approval. Last week I went to the dentist and they had to contact my doctor to do X-rays and a cleaning.

I don't think you're supposed to but maybe check with your doctor or dentist.
