Well, even tho I've never went to it...I heard lamaze classes can help. But in my opinion it happens quite fast so you don't really have time to process anything to be "worrying" about it. I'll be honest tho, When labor pains start it'll be a "no joke" feeling. Once you start pushing, nd your told that your baby is "almost here" it's all you think about. Nothing else.

But like I said. Taking classes. Talking with females in your family with children. Hearing about others labor nd birthing experience. All can help, don't forget your hormonal so don't try to work yourself up over it. We were made to bear children. God wouldn't do so if he thought us "women" couldn't handle. :-) :-)

I would either take a class or do your own research online and read books. There is a lot of information out there and labor and delivery doesn't always go fast. There are things you can do to help yourself in early labor or to prepare yourself for labor. The above is correct that once the contractions are strong enough you're not thinging about much else. If you're going to have someone in the room with you it could be helpful to tell them what you've leared and ask them to take charge of helping your. I say that because things like getting up and walking using the restroom or having someone rub your back can really really help and you need someoe to encourage you to get up and do those things, untill you have an epidural if that's what you plan on doing. It works wonders. I couldn't feel anything once it took full effect. Read and watch videos it's less scary when you understand how it works what your body is doing why and ways to help yourself. Good Luck!
