Anyone had multiples?

I won't know til the 13th what I've got in there but everything my mom and others has said about being pregnant with a single baby just doesn't sound right for me... I'm estimated at 15 weeks. It could be more or less but I feel strong butterflies in my belly on a regular basis now. Sometimes it's just one spot but sometimes it feels like it's all over. Or sometmes it'll be in one spot then stop and immediately start up in another. I know a lot of women say the baby moving can also feel like gas but this doesn't feel lke any gas I've ever had. A few of my friends think I may be having twins but I don't want to get my hopes up.. so what I guess I'm asking is:

Did you know before the doctor if you had more than one? Did it feel any different for you or am I just being too hopeful?

I do have a lot of early pregnancy symptoms but my mom thinks I'm just farther along than the doctor says.

I'm pregnant with twins 21 wks. My pregnancy symptoms were a lot stronger than my singletons. I also showed way faster. I found out at 11 wks, thought I was only 4wks because I hadnt missed my period.
