BACTRIM BEFORE I KNEW I WAS PREGNANT

Hello! My name is Anna and I am 12 weeks pregnant. The first day of my last period was September 26.  At that time, I was taking Bactrim and Fluconazole. I finished the prescribed doze by the end of October and than  i missed my period. So technically, i was into my 4th week of pregnancy on these meds. I am very worried now and I wonder if medications have effect on the baby's development that early in pregnancy. I had my first 2 appointments with OBGYN and ultrasounds and everything looks good they say. Please advise. THANKS!

its been 8 weeks (2 months), since you took the meds and your ultra sound tech said eveuthing looks fine then your fineeeeee!

I am not happy about being on em either that's why I have had it so long. But look at it this way ppl do hard drugs during and at the beginning an have perfectly healthy babies.

Hi Jess! yep, its an antibiotic but a strong one i guess. Ive read bunch of things about side effects. Lets hope for the best. Thank you!

That's an antibiotic right? I'm 19+3 and on antibiotics for a sinus infection I have had for 3 months that will not go away. You should be just fine.
