question about my 12wk scan?

So at my 12wk scan I noticed the tech didnt look for a possible 2nd fetus? I have never had this happen when I layed down he put the probe on my stomach and the baby was right there but he didnt move it anywhere else to look for anymore. Has this ever happened to anyone else only to find out later there was more than one? Me and my partner have had suspicion of twins since the beginning of pregnancy and the 12wk was the only scan ive had I think I will just have to wait till my 20wk scan.

They usually have ways to tell if there's some hint at multiple foetuses. You really should have spoken up though & asked him though. You have every right to ask them questions, of course. I hope that all goes well for you & your new family. However many it may be. B
