BIG HEAD?

When I had an ultrasound at 36w5d they tech was like "not to scare you but your baby has a big head!" Should that scare me? Like if it was ABNORMALLY big they would have said something right? Do you think ahe just meant a kinda bigger head for newborn in general or what? You dont think its so big she will look different right? (And I am goin to ask dr at next appointment monday, just wondering id any of you had been told this?)

my third baby had a big head they told me in the ultrasound and again at his delivery.  a big head can affect the delivery process.  in my case he was still born vaginaly, though my doctor had to assist in moving my cervix so that it would not rip. try not to worry. im sure things will be fine. my baby boy looks normal,  im sure your baby will aswell.

Sorry, but this made me giggle.   My husband had a GIANT alien head according to his mom (and the baby pictures I've seen).  He grew into it & he's really smart! Lol

But take what the tech said with a grain of salt.  If it is a man, he is just stupid & doesn't know that his words really affect pregnant women. And if it is a woman maybe she has never been pregnant or has a sour sense of humor.

Chances are your baby is fine.  The growth spurts over the next 3 weeks should catch up baby's body. Ask your doctor to clarify. If baby does in fact have a bigger head (like my husband did), just start doin those perineal massages!
