Everybody is different. I'm 24 weeks pregnant with twin girls and they have been kicking the c r a p out of me for the last month. Flutters too but mostly kicking, and I believe it's the way one of them is laying ( transverse) kicking thebside of me. The second one is buried deep in behing the placenta and near the cervix and its a lot more flutters for her.

Thank you for ur input :)
Drink something cold or eat something sweet like a nutrigran bar n kicks ull receive lol.but lay down after on ur back or side
I gave birth to my baby boy at 34 weeks and I only felt him when I laid down on my sides or when I sat down a certain way the doctor said it was due to my placenta being on top. Next time you get a sonogram ask if you're placenta's on top or at the bottom.
I'm a ftm at 20 weeks with a girl too and I haven't really had flutters that I've noticed. But I can feel her changing position after I empty my bladder or roll over in bed. It only started a couple of days ago... Pretty cool.
First 2 pregnancies were girls and they didn't really kick a lot. I felt flutters a lot. Then I felt some twisting and moving but when I did feel kicks they were very dainty and light. This is my 3rd pregnancy and I am having a boy and he kicks hard, he never had a flutter stage, I would say he felt like a little goldfish. Which I thought was appropriate because his name is Finley but we plan to call him "Fin" so it was totally cute thst he felt like a fish. Now that he is bigger and I am further along I feel less kicks and more crazy rolling motions.. so I think it's Def okay to feel flutters. I think all movements count as far as tracking movements except for hiccups.
Thank you , ftm mom here lol so all new to me
Flutters are just as good as kicks. Its overall movement in general that you have to pay attention to. You'll likely feel larger kicks as you progress father. I think I was told ~32w is when max movement/kicks occur.
