I am 26 weeks and my backs and butts hurt everyday from sitting at my desk. I have tried pillows, teas, heat, coolness and its still never makes me comfortable. Grrrrrr 12 weeks and counting..

Why are you only getting 6 weeks??? That doesn't sound very legal, legally I'm entitled to 9 months and I'm getting a full year of holidays to take on top of that. You should speak to someone who knows what they're talking about to see exactly what your entitled to :)

26 weeks and put at a desk full time because I chose to opt out of taking x-rays on patients. I'm having the same problem and was even given a new "Managers Chair". Depending on patient flow I can be working up to 13 hours and sometime I just want to cry. Being that I'm in the medical field the Dr. has no empathy I'm only getting 6 weeks so if I chose to leave early it's less time with my baby :(

Working is so hard when pregnant, I'm 29 weeks and I only have one more week to work then I'll be off for nearly 10 months. I work with babies in a daycare centre so I'm on my feet and bending up and down alot so I'm going off early as I have been having tightenings in my tummy and my consultant wanted me to go off early cos of the chance of early labour. My back and hips have been getting so sore at work and I don't sit at a desk :(
