She means probably to understand what people are saying on this forum. FTM means first time Mom. Smh means shake my head. Lol means laugh out loud. I don't think I know any others.
If I were you, I wouldn't use abbreviations for baby talk....unless you're just meaning via text and stuff when you talk to other people about your baby. I personally think it's alot better to use real, proper language in everyday conversation. Too many people think slang is proper english....like saying 'dat' instead of 'that'.
