Lol, just reread my post and it should say 'put baby in a crib' not club! I am not advocating dropping a child off at a club to get some rest!  Darn auto correct!

@Junemommy23- you took my question straight from my mouth, my l/o did that yesterday allday, it only got solved by him falling asleep, he also passes gas a lot, no fever no nothing, has colic med everyday so its realy confusing for me. Doctor says h's fine but jst could'nt stop crying. He cries atleast once every 10 days. Hope you find a solution. Good luck.

Is there someone else who can watch him for a bit? Maybe someone who doesn't live with you who could take him for a walk while you get some rest? It sounds like you're pretty worried and frustrated -understandably - and babies often pick up on tension. Our bodies get tense our voices show frustration and the baby can tell. When I was younger and worked in a day care and then as a nanny the trick was have the calmest person deal with the most fussy child
or when I was onot my own I would put baby in a club or somewhere else safe, walk outside the home and breathe and count backwards from 100. Then when I was calmer I would go back and 9 times out of 10 I could calm the baby down! Also, ear plugs! If you find holding him gets him a bit calmer but he is still fussing, pop those suckered in while you rock him!
Try out some of the awesome suggestions people have posted. Newborns sometimes are like this, it won't last forever! Hang in there!

my daughter was collic and the only thing that would help calm her down was gas drops and the shower running i would sit on the toilet with the door shut and hot water running through the shower rocking her with her head on my shoulder and patting her back until she went to sleep.

How long has it been when u say he wont stop crying? Sometimes they cry for 30 mins to 1 hour out of colic. As long as there is no fever he should be ok, but if u really think baby is in pain, then u should call an advice nurse or check in with a doctor

It's probably gas. My daughter does this all time.
like mentioned above,  buy gas drops and bounce her up and down in your arms to get a burp out. My daughter was also given meds for acid reflux.
When you're feeding him, feed him in an upright position and burp him after every ounce. You can also buy probiotic powder from sprouts and add it to his bottle. It helps regulate his digestive system.  No need for the er.

Soothing bath, quiet music, dim lighting in room maybe?  Baby belly massages might help too

Was he circumcised? He might be irritable from the pain. I wouldn't chance anything with my newborn though. If nothing helps go to the E.R

My little girl used to get gassy quite often. Seems the only thing that would work is to give her gas drops and do the football hold (hold head/neck in hand with stomach down on forearm) while doing the shush and swing. My husband always had the magic touch.

Is he running a fever? Try swaddling, holding him upright against your chest- skin to skin, or try shhhhing a little louder than he is crying 6 inches to a foot away from his ear to mimic the noise level in the womb. Sometimes babies just need to be held.

If he's running a fever or cannot keep milk/formula down then there is cause for concern.

If feeding burping holding and rocking doesn't work I'd either take him or assume he has.colic. it could be a sign he has acid reflux also.
