Baby's rotation

Hello ladies. I am 31 weeks and I am wondering if anyone knows how we can tell if baby is head down prior to getting an ultrasound? My baby was breech when I was 28 weeks but lately I been feeling him move alot under my pelvis.

I actually had a prenatal visit today and I was right lmao, baby is head down and in my pelvis already:) kinda nervous as I'm only 31 weeks and have had the others 4 kids around 36 to 38 weeks. I'm hoping this one makes to 37 weeks.

There are numerous ways to know orientation without an U/S. When laying on your back, you can easily feel the head from the bumm. You can also feel thr difference in movement. The bumm and leg kicks feel different than arm movement. Hick ups also come from the head side of the body.

I thought mine had turned head down but wasn't sure until I had one of those 4d ultrasounds. He is head and down and face towards my back (so no good
4d face pics lol. But he has hair on the back of his head! ) But I felt more pressure under my ribs and would feel thumps to my lungs. I'd also feel what I thought was his head moving under my skin but it was
Down towards my pelvis. Where as before I only felt kicks down in the pelvic region. I have to watch my posture because if I slump or lean over I notice my chest (ribs and lungs) gets achey and my lower back starts hurting.

I'm 31 weeks as well. I noticed a difference when j have braxton Hicks contractions. I'm not sure if its an indicator or not but my stomach gets hard and it looks like an oval, not from side to side but from top to bottom. I'm hoping that's s sign baby's getting jntk position lol. I've also been having to go pee more and I feel lots of pelvic pressure lately. I could be over thinking it though.
