gestational diabeties

Just wondering what are the symptoms for gestational diabetes? My midwife is sending me for the glucose test tomorrow (which we don't normally have to do in the UK this is my 3rd and iv never had one) because i am measuring big. But i don't think that's it i just think i have a big baby. My BD was nearly 10lb when he was born. Thanks :-)

I don't believe there are any true symptoms other than increase amniotic fluid and large babies generally... I have taken the test and passed quite well but have been measuring 2-3 weeks too big since 24 weeks... Just a chunky monkey brewing in here Lol good luck

I had my appt today (16 weeks) and glucose was found on my urine! I wonder if I have gd?
