I'm pretty sure bv is common in women who take baths instead of showers. I would switch to showers if you are very concerned as well as finishing out your medicine. Good luck!

me too. I foumd out i had bv and was preggo the same week. I took the meds. The dr said its safe for the baby and i will be fine. If u dont take the med or finish them bv can cause pre term labor. But im glad u mention it or i would of forgotten to ask my dr to check to see if it came back cuz ive been yeast infection a few times a month and now im wondering even if its an yeast infection. Im 30+ wks now

I had this before and at the beginning of my pregnancy. I'm currently 28 weeks today and I believe it's starting to come back.  The first time, I finished my antibiotics and didn't have a problem with it until recently. The doctors say it's nothing to worry about. (:

I haven't dealt with this but my sister did her entire pregnancy, she went through 4 rounds of meds and my nephew will be 5 next May :) Try not to worry or stress! The Dr told my sister to stop shaving, wear cotton panties, no thongs and make sure her hands/partners hands were really clean. She listened to none of it -_- I got one yeast infection and did all of those things and havent had an issue since. Best of luck mama!

You and baby will be fine. Ive had it twice before. Just make sure you finish out ALL of your meds. It will be gone by time you finish the antibiotics :)
