My doctor says Sudafed and Sudafed PE are both safe but neither should be used over 10 days in a row. Personally i feel if you're still having symptoms that long you should be going the doc anyhow to get antibiotics. Anyhow just thought I would point out the drug in Sudafed that replaced the orginal drug used in meth (phenylephrine) is also in Tylenol sinus unless you're buying it from behind the pharmacy counter and signing for it so if you're scared of Sudafed you shouldn't use Tylenol sinus. I'm not trying to be snotty so I hope my post doesn't get taken that way but thought it needed to be pointed that they have the same drug.

ask ur dr everyone has different pregnancy and only dr can tell u wat to take  depending on ur specific pregnancy. if everything is well then normally they will recommend childrens robuttusin. DO NOT TAKE HOT SHOWERS im telling u its bad for baby and u can start having contractions every dr will tell u that. just drink orange juice and plenty of water that will keep u both hydrated and vitamin c helps immune system for u to get better faster.but remember u are pregnant and u will get sick at some point just dont stress out u will get better and let ur body just fight it.

Robutussin DM is fine and Tylenol cough and cold. Other than that warm honey lemon water and cough drops. You can do a nasal cleanse with a Netty pot and salt water if you can stand it. It's supposed to break up all the junk in your nose and clean it out

Whoa I'd avoid Sudafed. Here's what I've been told. There are two different types of Sudafed. There's the regular Sudafed and Sudafed PE. Awhile back, when it became popular to make meth put of Sudafed, the company changed their formula. The stuff you by straight off the shelf is Sudafed PE. That version can restrict the blood vessels around the placenta. The regular Sudafed, still available by going to the pharmacist's counter, does not do that. Bottom line: Don't take a chance with it. I've had a cold the past week, and have been taking Tylenol for the sinus headaches and some Musinex to clear the congestion. Also, have you tried clearing your sinuses with a Neti Pot? It's gross but works wonders and it's drug free. My doctor also said plain Halls cough drops with menthol are fine. And have a glass of hot tea to soothe a sore throat.

If it's just a cold nothing but recommend some OTC meds to make you feel a little better until it runs it course. Sudafed, Tylenol plus, robutussin, vicks 44 are a few safe things to take.
