Bad stomach issues (diarrhea) in second trimester?

Anyone experience this? Every day the past week or two, no matter what I eat for dinner, immediately after I'm running to the toilet.

Even if its plain rice chicken and salad!

What can I do to help this that safe to take? Or any natural (immediate relief) remedies?

Bran (and other fibres) loosen your stool. They're good for helping with constipation, not diarrhea. Maybe cut back on fibres and try eating ripe bananas and/or more protein. Are you getting 100 grams of protein a day? That's how much I've been told to aim for, and I am constipated more from the increase of protein
Of you're having the opposite problem, that might bind you up a bit.

If you think it might be grains then try a gluten free diet and see how that works for you.

@megmegcleve thanks! But you know i'm starting to think I have some type of chrones/IBS/colitis type issue because all I eat are whole grains and its generally after a fibre or grain full meal that I'm dying in the fetal position hah. Either that or it really is just pregnancy related changes in my body!

I would also add some bran cereal and whole grains to harden up your stool. Lots more veggies and plenty of water

My doctor said imodium is fine. I took a couple but they stopped me up too much. Ended up getting a stool sample and had a lot of yeast. So I was prescribed diflucan for that and now I'm almost normal. But I'm in third trimester so I don't know if that makes a difference for what you can take.
