Bad taste in mouth

So I was hoping for any advice on this. I am 9 weeks pregnant and almost constantly have a terrible taste in my mouth. Everything I eat or drink has a bad aftertaste and water and teethbrushing don't help it at all. Any suggestions or does anyone know if this will go away further in my pregnancy???

I had it bad up till 18 weeks. I'm 20 weeks now. Now it is off and on. I suck on cinnamon candy...its all that helped. Doctor told me to change my vitamins but that didn't help either. It's a metallic taste and its caused by hormones.

Just read about it in a book and its normal and caused by hormones. The book says fight it with acid...citrus juices, lemonade, spur candies, etc

I'm almost 32 weeks along and it has come and gone for me. It was really bad my first trimester and went away for my second trimester but it's back now. It's awful. I literally have to keep gum or mints handy at all times. My prenatal vitamins made no difference. I've heard acidic drinks like orange juice and lemonade are supposed to help but neither worked for me. Good luck!

Even when I don't take them I still have it. So I know for me at least its not my vitamin

I have had this happen with some medicines so it is probably your prenatal vitamin. I would talk to the Dr and ask for a different one. Also, I had noticed if I drank like Gatorade the bad taste would get better.
