Bed rest

Anyone else on bed rest? I got put on bed rest today. I have been cramping a lot but my cervix is closed and the doctor prescribed something to take twice daily to stop cramping. I am 24 weeks. I am scared this is my miracle baby. Anyone else dealing with similar issues.

I went in Monday 31 weeks 7 days and I was dilated to 2 and having contractions.. lost my mucous plug last Thurs went to hospital after midnight bc I was having contractions 7 mind apart.. got them to stop put me on bed rest until I seen my Dr on Monday and she checked me of course 2 cm and put me on bed rest.. Def boring and is anboying.. so hard to be on bed rest

Wow. Did u have any sude effects from the meds?

I was put on bedrest right around the same time in my pregnancy. I was in and out of the hospital for preterm labor numerous times was given meds to stop labor then had to take meds 3 times daily (procardia) to keep contractions at bay. I am now exactly 36 weeks and was given the ok on Monday to do whatever I want and told that baby is good to go. Just try not to stress yourself out it ***** being on bedrest especially if you have little ones like I do at home but it flew by for me. Now I'm trying to get this stubborn boy out and he doesn't want to come lol.
