I've use raw Shea butter, Olive oil and cocoa butter. I am Black American and those are the only things that keep my skin moisturized when pregnant or not. 4th baby and very light to no stretch marks.
@katie_1989 try looking in the baking aisle.
I found that stretch marks don't always come during pregnancy, they can show up after as mines did with my 1st. I was told it was caused by rapid weight lose in a short time.
Im 37 weeks an use coco butter an i havent got any strch marks so far an it stops my skin from itching
I want to try coconut oil but where in the store is it located?! I know every store is different but is it by lotions or body wash or am i missing it completely? .. or my lack of patience!
I also use other natural organic oils like sweet almond oil, olive oil, grapeseed oil that all work very well.
I third the organic coconut oil. You can't go wrong and you smell delicious. A great way to get a massage in from the fellow too. I also have stretch marks from my other pregnancies but they're on my butt, hips and breast. Since its been a decade since my last baby and they've faded, I hope I don't get new ones and the old ones stay faded.
I second the coconut oil- I'm ftm 34 weeks and try to use it daily and have had no stretch marks- its also helped soften some older ones I had from previous weight fluctuations before pregnancy.
Iv been using organic coconut oil....I love it I'm 34 weeks and I have stretch marks from my other pregnacies I'm hoping they dnt get worst so far (knock on wood) they havnt...it keeps my skin soft all day I use it all over...my elbows and knees are so soft...my skin over all has just improved since iv been using it...
