Just to be realistic, it is nice to sit down and talk to you doctor about your birth plan. Just do not get 100% set on everything on your list happening. Things come up and things end up changing. Just remember you will have to be open minded as well for the health and safety of you and your baby.

I didn't bother with a plan because nothing went as I planned:P just roll with it! (; baby is coming into this world one way or another,I see them as a waste of hopes and time.

I didn't have one with my first and my only request this time where more with my family which was my husband's not allowed to call anyone other than my mom because she'll be in the room and my grandmother because she's staying with our son everyone else will be called when I'm ready to push because they Drove me crazy calling every few minutes asking if he was out yet i also put that no one was allowed into the room until I have the OK you would think these are basic things but apparently not with my very Cuban family lol my aunt and grandma barged in while I was still getting my stitches from my episiotomy very awkward so I have very specific rules and whoever doesn't follow them gets kicked out I told my husband that includes him lol

Well normally you talk to you doc or midwife.you usually start by deciding which hospital you want to deliver in then pain meds if you want or don't and if you want any intervention like braking your water. I never had a plan with my kids this is my fourth. I just went with the flow. One thing to remember even if you have a plan things can Chang if you need any type of intervention its best to listin to the doc because they know best unless they are complete jerks then ask for another doc to discus your options:) good luck I hope this was helpful
