Thanks for all of your encouraging words and support. I have an appointment with my ob at 11:30 to have hormone levels rechecked and another ultrasound so I guess I will, hopefully, get a definite answer today. Please send prayers and good vibes!
I went thru the same thing. It's a very emotional thing. If the cramps aren't too bad that is good. I spotted for about a mount the Dr prescribed me progesterone pills because of the blood loss just to be safe. I would suggest bringing that up to your Dr. Not sure if that's what saved my daughter or not. I'm now nearing the end of my pregnancy only ten weeks. best of luck mama try not to stress too much.
So sorry you have to go through this, I know it's not easy. Praying for you and your sweet baby, and that everything is ok. If you need to talk I'm here,!
I ended up going to the ER last night. My hormone levels were 6000 and they could see the embryo still attached to the uterine wall but the were having a hard time find the heartbeat. The doctor said that it might just be too early to really be able to see it good.
They are calling it a threatened miscarriage. In other words, I could continue on with the pregnancy and everything be normal or I could miscarry over the next few days.
I am supposed to go in on Monday for a follow up ultrasound and recheck the hormone levels.
I really don't know what is worse, worry that I am going to miscarry or having that small glimmer of hope that I might not. :(
Thanks for your support.
Go to the ER. My first pregnancy ended at 8 weeks and started out as dark brown spotting. I went in and it was all downhill from there but I was in a setting where they could tell me what was happening. They took care of me gave me pain medicine when the cramping got bad and a sedative to calm me down. I pray you are just experiencing normal spotting but better go in just to ease your mind .
I've experienced the same in my first pregnancy, and was told the same "it's normal". It eventually stopped. As long as the cramps aren't bad and the bleeding is only light spotting...I think you're fine.
