Blood test that determines gender

My doctor told me about these blood tests that is done to test for any genetic disorders that can be done as early as 10 weeks...and at the same time can determine gender. Does anyone know if there's an additional cost for the gender testing part of this?

The maternit21 is I do believe a lil over 1000.00 and my anthem is out of network. I had the test only because she tested positive for Trisomy 18.

Thank you. Good to know. My cousin was under the impression that a test like this would cost a couple thousands but it wasn't what my doc had mentioned.

No its just one cost for both parts. Check with your insurance provider for coverage though.
