I mainly nursed...was easier than pumping for me...but for the times I used a bottle, I really like phillips avent bottles. Every baby is different so I wouldn't buy a lot of any one brand until you know I'd baby likes it. Look into avent, playtex dropins, tommy tippe, dr brown....ask bottles my friends have used and liked...just depends on your baby.
We used dr browns with my 1st and loved them. Cleaning is not fun but they are worth it
Dr Brown's and playtex vent air are both good.
I like Philips Avent bottles.
I used the Playtex drop-ins, dr. Brown, and Avent Flo bottles all worked fine... The Playtex drop-ins bottle nipples are more similar to mommies breast though. The Avent Flo nipples are like the green pacifier they give the baby in the hospital. Dr. Browns bottles are great for gassy, colicky babies :)
Im going to use MAM bottles I love them, because they self sterilize themselves and help reduce colic :-)
I mostly nurse.. But once we started we used Playtex drop ins. I bought MAM for this baby... We will see:)
I'm going to try the Medela bottles that attach to my Medela breast pump for this baby. But back in the day when my now 9&6 yrs olds were babe's we used Avent and loved them.
Everyone at my baby shower bought Dr Brown's for me. I'm gonna see how she likes those.
I didn't breastfeed my first but I've heard the medela bottles are the best for mothers who pump. I used the Playtex bottles with the liners for my son because he had really bad gas problems and those helped a bunch and switching him to sensitive formula helped as well.
Kiinde, it's a system where you pump directly into the storage bag so there is no need for measuring, pouring, etc. Not very many ppl know about it but its wonderful.
Tommy Tipee bottles ! They help with gas, and are shaped great don't take up too much space in your diaper bag
Dr.brown, tried almost every brand with my first. Who had colic and a friend suggested dr Brown. Within a month he was fine. I plan on using them with my lil girl.
I use born free bottles. I had so many problems with dr. Browns bottles that I just did away either them. I haven't had one bit a problem with born free bottles and I absolutely love them.
