I am expecting my 7th child, I have had Braxton Hicks since around 16 weeks!! And actually a woman's uterus begins having small contractions from about 6 weeks but obviously those are not felt. Mine are strong, often and painful at times, but they are never regular or progress. It's completely common!!

I started having them at 26 weeks.  Mine hurt but not bad.  I get them only when I work or stand up too fast. Sometimes I havem 4 or 5 times an hour at 30 weeks.

Yes you can. I had them as early as 22 weeks. They weren't painful, just an awkward tightening in my abdomen. 39 weeks now & they have definitely shifted to painful!
