Braxton hicks can hurt some. I was just in labor and deliver less than a week ago bc of it. Normally they do not but don't ppl they can't bc they can hurt mildly and be uncomfortable.
I just posted something about this I go thru this daily as well
Mine have been and always been slightly painful. I get them in my back and lower pelvic. Im going on my third child.
Actually Braxton Hicks contractions can be painful!! I get them daily, several in a row and have in all my pregnancies. I am expecting my 7th child by the way. So MsCali* Everything sounds completely common and normal ;) If your experiencing mild cramps, even those are common!! Braxton Hicks are contractions and are different from mild cramps. Braxton Hicks begin by tightening of your uterus (you will fee your baby ball up and your belly will feel harder), this can also cause you to feel a tad bit breathless or reason to take a deep breath. You may feel a little pressure, they can be very painful!! Mild cramping will feel similar to premenstrual cramps, not to painful (although if they move some what to your back, they can be). If your feeling cramps constantly, with or without contractions that are so painful that you actually stop from breathing etc, call your doctor..just to make sure it's normal.
I was just asking it nothing.wrong with.Me
They shouldn't hurt at all, just uncomfortable. Should feel like the other lady said. Are you having anything else going on besides the period pain? It could just be the uterus stretching.
For me it's just a tightening of the stomach..it doesn't hurt but they do feel funny..
