Breast or Bottle?

A big decision new moms must make for their little one’s nutrition is breast vs. formula. Which choice is right for you?

I'm going to breast feed, both of my sisters couldn't with any of their children one has 2 children n she couldn't because she had to take medication after birth on both baby's and my other sister wasn't making enough milk with all 4 of her children n when they found out i was pregnant they practically begged me to breast feed good job I'm going to do it anyways but I'm having formula on one side just incase

I will breastfeed, but only for 3 months.
I don't want to deal with sore nipples and leaking breasts for too long.. also I look forward to be able to have a drink -and I don't think you can drink and breastfeed.
There is something convenient with formula, you get your freedom back a bit more and the father can fix the meal instead of you being a kind of 'vending machine'.
This is just how I feel about it and how I approach it, I don't think there is any right or wrong -each to their own :)

Formula without a doubt suits me and my family in our situation. Each to their own :-)

I was with breastfeeding in the beginning. But it really hurt me as my nipples got really raw. Then I started pumping & feeding my daughter with a bottle, but after going on birth control it has made me stop producing milk & now I'm using formula. So it's really up to you & your own experiences.
Just remember there is no right or wrong choice.

I chose formula. I had to get knee surgery shortly after my daughter was born.  Can't breastfeed while on insane pain pills. Second,  my diet isn't good. I eat once a day (personal insecurities).
That wouldn't benefit baby at all.
turns out my daughter has a milk allergy so she's on a soy formula. I personally think it's just better under my circumstances that she's on formula.  If I didn't need an emergency knee surgery (my patella had several cracks and dislocated randomly) I would have breastfed. There's nothing wrong with formula feeding.  My daughter is 4 months and healthy.

Breast all the way! Of course I just think its important that children are nourished and mums should try breast feeding at least a little bit before doing formula.
I say that because I know people that wont even try breastfeeding as they told me "breast fed babies are unsettled and never sleep through".
My son is 15 months and still has 2 breast feeds a day and I plan to nurse this next baby for as long as they want.

Breast. First of all its free.. who doesn't like free. Formula cost over 200 $ a month were I live and only gets more expensive as the baby gets bigger. Second of all its what's best for your baby... breastmilk has antibodies that help fight off infections if your child gets exposed . Thirdly its conveient. No need for bottles or mixing formula. Its already made packaged and ready to go. Lastly thats what your boobs were made for. God gave them to you to feed your children otherwise y o u wouldnt produce milk.. there is a downfall to everything as usual. But they shouldn't stop any momma. Some down falls are my husband is snoring while I'm up feeding. The crazy looks and judmental people in public even when your covrred. Gives you less freedom. At least for first month I can't be gone longer than an hour or he's starved. And screaming. Some of these cons can be fixed by pumping and feeding out of a bottle. I personally believe that everyone should be required to at least try to breast feed. And never given formula unless you are unsuccesfull at breastfeeding.
