Twins?!?!

hey ladies!!! Have any of you found out you were having multiples later on in pregnancy? I've had 2 ultrasounds (the first they said I had a cyst on my ovary) then the second (a few days later) they couldn't find the cyst but both times they only found 1 baby. I was really early on, 5 and 6 weeks. Twins do run in both families, mine and my hubby's. This is my third baby and I am 12 weeks but I'm showing as if I'm 4 months. Could it be possible to find out you were having multiples later on in your pregnancy? Like they miss the second baby? I go to the doctor next week and am having another ultrasound and I'm going to ask why I am showing so much for being so early on in pregnancy. Thanks ladies!

With the subsequent pregnancies you will show much earlier generally. Happens to me too. Usually twins will be detected in ultrasound pretty easily in early pregnancy. You will see either 2 sacs or 1 sac with 2 fetal poles in there. Unlikely nowadays doc will miss it.

I would wonder the same , I'm 20 weeks now and have soooo much movement ! Can feel moving and kicks way down the left side of my tummy and up the right side , my 13 weeks scan only showed one baby but my first scan showed a cyst aswel, I'm sure there is two! But last scan at 13 wk was very clear
