A lot of cultures eat spicy food every day. Can't be that bad. ... As for onion... We usually boil a whole onion and give the onion water to a baby for colic. Quiets then right down and puts them to sleep. So dont think those are bad either.

Some babies are sensitive to different things. Some get a little gassy with spicy food, broccoli and other stuff they think male them gassy.

Ha my mil too.. she would tell me that onions did it for her kids and that even the onion powder in ketchup had them hysterical... haha ya ok. That's such a tiny amount of onion powder.

My baby just spit up a little more or had gas more than normal whenever I ate spicy foods or green peppers/onions. Either way you should be fine. Just give gas drops or whatever you use similar and baby should be OK.  No need to throw out good milk. Good luck

I have read that is a myth and when woman notice a baby upset and relate it to what food they ate that it's actually unrelated. I never had a problem with my lo and my breast milk.
