Breastfeeding milk from someone else? ??? help.!! kinda long sorry.

Ladies plz help me out....
The MIL is being really annoying..lol.. she really is..
My baby is 7 weeks goin on 8. I have been breastfeeding her but also giving her formula. Because I don't have enough milk to feed her. I breastfeed her in the morning and at night or to calm her down when she's feeling fussy. But a girl that we know (not blood related to me or my hubby) her son is 5 months and she's breastfeeding him she has a whole fridge stored with breast milk so I Kusturica found put from my hubbys sis in law that the MIL asked this girl if she could have breast milk to feed my baby. I am really mad because first of all its my baby asked no she didn't even asked me... and I don't know what u ladies think but I don't want to give my baby someone else's milk. If my babys health was at risk for any reason unless she has breastmilk then I would do it in asked no heart beat but thank God that is not the case. Plz help am I wrong??

If you're doing both and you and the baby are doing fine there is no reason to.  They usually encourage only breast milk if the baby is premie or having health issues.  I'd you don't want it,  done do it.

Wow! She's way out of line-she may have the best intentions but that's not a decision she can make! Stand your ground. Mother-in-law's really need to know their place, seems like a lot of them think they are equivalents like it's the 3 of you having a baby. NO. They've had theirs, grandma's are super important but there has to be boundaries!

Yeah i hear you personlly id have a hard time with giving my kid someone elses brest milk. And yet i donate mine to the agencies that screen it for the hospitals to give to premie babies. It really depends on your comfort level but id be pretty pissed too if my mil did that without talking to me first.

Your baby can get all kinds of diseases from breastmilk, including HIV. Tell your mil this fact and see what she says

Just ignore your MIL.  She has good intentions but you're the mom not her.

I'd be upset too definitely not her place!! They do have supplements and a tea called "mothers milk" to build your milk supply if you want to boost it on your own. It worked great for me with my first :)

Yeah I would be ticked off if that happened with my baby. My first baby i didn't produce enough milk so I supplemented with formula as well. There is nothing wrong with it. You don't know what that other lady is putting in her body so I wouldn't trust it.

No your not. It's your baby. If you don't want to then dont. She has no right to step in like she did. This is not her kid, it's yours.
