Breastfeeding

How many are planning to breastfeed? This will be my second time around. Should I expect the same nipple soreness, engorgement, and being over productive? Or is it different?

Im gonna breastfeed. This is my fourth child. My didnr want to breastfeed. My second i breastfed and my youngest i didnt because he was premature and had problems latching on to a bottle. There will be some soreness but once your comfortable getting the baby to latch on the less painful it will be.

I am currently breastfeeding my third child. I'm gonna say it was easier then with my first and second because I knew what I was doing and knew to take precautions to help keep my nipples from getting so sore.

I'm excited! I didn't want my first one to stop until he was 2 but for some reason the nurse at the ob said I should stop that they ask all of their patients to stop because they don't want them feeding 3 people. But you know after I had him weaned I thought about it would they ask a mother carrying twins to abort a twin so she wouldn't be feeding 3 people.  At least he did make it to 20 months. I can't wait to hear back from the birthing center so I can move to a more woman beeastfeeding friendly place.

I plan on feeding this one too. I breast fed my son easily and am hoping this one is easier still. I still have a couple of bottles on hand just as a back up though.

I think it's easier every time. You still have some of the soreness, but it's nothing like the first time.
