I know Medela makes a nipple cream and I used it with my first baby.
I used lanolin with my 3 previous kids, that helped but also putting your milk on your nipple than letting then air dry is a huge help as well. Also I've heard and may try coconut oil as well this this time. Good luck mama
Thank you ladies. I also have heard good things about coconut oil and have been thinking about giving it a try.
Lanolin and madela are both good. There are a lot of creams for dry cracked nipples. They all provide some sort of relief generic and ones made by companies that do not provide only breast feeding supplies do bot help as much but they do some.
Definitely give coconut oil a try! I have yet to use it for breast feeding but I use it for everything. It's a miracle oil. You can also consume it to increase milk production.
I used a few creams and I also used nipple guards on and off wen in too much pain. Some ppl aren't a fan but my son had no problems with them and they help ALOT!!!
