Should I be concerned?

Hello ladies,
In late August my I had surgery to remove fibroids, clean tubes and ovaries ( pcos) and a D&C.
Prior to surgery I was taking low dose aspirin, prenatal vitamins and cyclogest inserts.
I had a bleeding on September 11 which coincided with my regular 33 days average cycle. This lasted up until 21st.
I haven't had a period since then. I did a test yesterday ( November 1) and it showed a positive result.
I am however seeing a bit of very dark brown 'discharge' most times I wipe after peeing.
Had my first visit with doc yesterday too and he did a scan and said he saw 'something ' inside the uterus but it's not.very clear. He ordered blood test, put me on cyclogest inserts and Natelle vitamins.

Has anyone had anything like this?  My husband and I have bee trying for the last 4 years to conceive. Our daughter is now 13 years old. This is our first positive result since trying.

I had bleeding for a few days right at when I was expecting my period with half of my pregnancies and it was nothing. I've also had multiple miscarriages. If it's a small amount and your not cramping there's no reason to be worried just yet.

Sgulia 1987,
Thanks for responding. Unfortunately I miscarried. I had no pains or anything but after I did the second blood test to check if the hcg levels were doubling, my doctor wasn't happy.
Levels went up but not doubled. I was ordered rest to see if it was a lack of that was to be blamed. Unfortunately by Saturday night I started passing lots of clots whenever I went to urinate. By Sunday night I was having regular bleeding and larger clots.
Yesterday my doc did a final scan and confirmed that i indeed miscarried.
I'm so sorry to hear that. A miscarriage when you've already gone through so much trying for a baby is devastating. I hope things work out better for you.

It is possible that the blood you saw was old blood from the egg implanting. I had a bit of that and it is scary. Next thing to do is be hopeful and wait for results.
