She's finally here!! :)

Baby June Annabelle  is finally here! She was born September 16th at 2:26pm, 8lbs 14 oz 21 inches . I woke up with contractions around 8am this morning. Me and my boyfriend arrived at the hospital at around 10 am dilated at 4cm 100% effaced. Unfortunately my epidural failed which was not ideal :( but I started pushing at 1:50pm and by 2:26 she was here !! :) she swallowed meconium so I was unable to hold her right away as she was taken by nicu nurses. It was very scary-- but they took good care of my little girl and placed her in my arms around 25 mins later. She also fractured her shoulder while being pushed out because she was so big. Poor girl. Doctor says she will heal within days. She's absolutely perfect and I've never been happier. Goodluck to all the mommys to be :) just wanted to share my story while I'm waiting for them to bring her back in from the nursey.

8lb is not that big. It is considered average size, isn't it?
Congratulations on your baby girl!
Well done.
