I have a 14 yr old daughter and have been a single mother the entire time until I married my husband 3yrs ago. She was already grown so it's not like he could raise her. Just know you have to be the mom and the dad and sometimes it's not fair, but your child will respect you a whole lot more when they get older knowing how mom took care of them all by herself! There will be times of struggle, stress, disappointment, anger and frustration, just know that it will ALWAYS get better! I juggled two job and went to school while taking care of her. Don't ever let anyone make you feel less of a parent or put you down, single moms end up having to sacrifice a lot but end up with the most awesomely independent children, which is good! We teach our children right and also that being alone doing the hardest job in the world is ok.

I been a single mom to my son pretty much the last 11 years. The BF i have now is not really father like with him. You can do it. Just know that no matter what through bad times amd good you will survive. I have the attitude that i can fall flat on my face as bad as losing everything and going to a shelter but i know i have my son and I will make it no matter what life throws at me. Its not easy to rise a kid alone but you persevere through it all. And your child's Will see yhe sacrifices you make. Mine has for the last few years and always tells me he loves me because i always put him first and do everything for him.

I'm not a single mom but both of my two sisters are and my advice would be that when things seem hard and stressful always know they will get better. Babies are the easy part when they get 8 months to a year ect. Is when they are more picky and needy lol but you get to spend all the time you want with your little one and they will cherish that! :)
