Caffeine??

I seriously don't need coffee for energy. I need it to relieve my constipation! I've had problems with it for years, not just through pregnancy sooo it's kind of a big deal not to do something about it.

My doctor said that one coffee OR one soda/day is fine. Where do you ladies stand on caffeine??

16weeks FTM

I drink one cup of coffee/day, eat two activia yogurts and take fiber... I'm a mess, right?! Lol

I miss my coffee...I LIVED on the stuff before I got pregnant. Now I cant even drink decaf because it upsets my stomach. :-( I do drink a  glass of mountain dew, on average, every other day. It's fine. Now drinking the 10-15cups of coffee a day I was drinking before I got pregnant,  NOT a good idea, even for a healthy person not being pregnant.  Lol

Im legit right there with you! I eat activia fiber one bars and gummies so i can go but my dr said i can havr one caffeinated drink a day to help ease my head aches. What she told me is weigh the benifits with the option of not using it. And when my headache gets too bad its really the only thing that can help. Either caffeine or narcotics ill drink my pepsi. Same thing for constipation though too its probably much safer to drink a cup of coffee to go the have to take stool sofener daily

I was told you can have one cup a day or soda that's equivalent to the amount of caffeine in one cup coffee. I drink Mtn dew every once in awhile and my baby is right in track at 37 weeks

I was told 200-300mg of caffeine a day is safe. I am a huge coffee lover but ever since I became pregnant it turns my stomach so I have switched to ice tea.
