18 weeks and kidney pain

So last week on Thursday I went in to the doctor with UTI symptoms and was given an antibiotic. I am now done with my antibiotic but still have noticed when my bladder gets full in the middle of the night I wake up with pain on my right side where my kidneys are. Im 18weeks pregnant, is anyone else had this experience before. Once I relieve my bladder the pain goes away shortly after.

It's possible to have an infection and a stone. Ive had both but i wasnt pregnant at the time. Stones feel more like a sudden sharp stabbing/throbbing pain. A kidney infection is horrible too though. When i had my kidney infection the doctor had to touch my back and it was painful to the touch. I also had a 102 103 fever, no appetite, weight loss, nasuea, extreme jweakness, fast heart rate, dry mouth and fatigue. It also hurt to go number one AND number two sorry if tmi. Hope this helps...if you have one you'll probably have to be hospitalized on iv antibiotics. Maybe not though...mine was severe and turned life threatening from going accidentally undiagnosed. Good luck...i wouldn't wish these things on anyone.

Ok thanks. I am going to call the advice nurse and see if they can get me in. I know they saw some blood in my urine when I went in for the uti so I was wondering of it was possible for a stone. The pain is very spontanious and doesnt last for very long.

I just recently passed a stone and suffering from a kidney infection ... they treated me for a UTI atfirst but the antibiotic was not strong enough to take careof the kidney infection ... maybe its ppossible you have a kidney infection starting and that's why u only feel the pain when you have a full bladdar? idk just a thought ... but I would go to the doc to be certain because theycan be dangerous untreated for baby ...
