Can contractions feel different ?

Stomach is tightening (like Braxton hicks) with alot of pressure and a sharo pain here and there like the baby is trying to move down threw my coosa
Most say contractions are like menstrual cramps but that's not what mn feeling .
I'm a ftm Idk what this is I'm confused .

They stopped , but I think they were contractions too !, the baby must be almost ready.
When I had contractions with my daughter, they felt like gas pains and constipation and the pain was unbearable before I realized what they were and timed them. My Braxton Hicks contractions that I have been feeling since last night feel more like the pressure you are talking about. I know contractions are different for everyone, so it could be the real thing for you, but I don't know. Good luck!
