Can't sleep and a shift worker

Any other shift workers that are having trouble sleeping? I need to be able to sleep for my safety and others. I've tried to take warming baths with lavender and non-stimulating activities. I can't drink warm milk and I don't drink caffeine at all. I try not to drink an hour before bed if possible.
I am desperate for any thing that has helped others get better quality sleep! I need more than 3-4 hours of sleep in 48 hours!

I work overnights and have been having trouble too. When I get home in the morning I have just enough energy left to kiss my husband and son before passing out but am usually awake less than 5 hours later and can't sleep for the rest of the day. I can't sleep during the day before going in. Exhausted most of the time, just hoping it passes soon and I get better at sleeping because I've got a pretty huge level of responsibility at work.
