Really need your opinion on this one ladies

So FINALLY after hoping, wishing & praying... I got my BFP. I'm soooo happy. The problem is, I'm thinking I shouldn't tell me husband. I had a miscarriage last year & he was really upset. He thought it was his fault somehow. He was so disappointed. He has a 14yr old daughter from a previous relationship, who he didn't even know existed until he received child support papers in the mail. He missed her 1st steps, 1st words & so much more. I just feel like I wanna wait until I'm at least 3 months, because I'm so scared of another miscarriage & I just dont wanna disappoint him again. Even though  all I wanna do is call him at work at tell him the news. What would you do?

At first he thought it was a joke. After I assured him it was very much true & he was very happy!

It may be hard but yes the right thing is to tell him. Keep positive that this pregnancy won't end in a miscarriage. It's best that your mind is relaxed even though it isn't easy

You shouldn't feel responsible for loosing a baby or for the way he grieved (thinking it was his fault). Be hopeful with him for this new life in you. Celebrate each pregnancy with him. Go through it together from the start. It might hurt him if he found out you hid it from him, even if you were trying to protect him. Congrats and best wishes to you both :)

I feel like it would be hard to wait that long with someone you're so close to because so many changes will happen to your body it might be hard to miss. Also if you wait that long he will miss out on sharing the first 3 months of your pregnancy with you including the first ultrasound where you should hear the heartbeat for the first time.

Pregnancy is a journey you should make together,. Plus, if it ends in miscarriage (hope it doesn't) wouldn't you want his support and love? Wouldn't you just need him by your side?
