How far along are you? I tried everything when I was in my first/early 2nd trimester and nothing helped even the stool softeners.
Eat watermelon! Its all fiber and water. I had like 6 slices and I went about 4 times that night. Good luck :)

& if your not anemic I would recommend mentioning to your doctor a prenatal vitamin that has less or no  Iron. I had horrible constipation & it seemed to be all the extra iron in my vitamins. Good luck hopefully these tips help you.

Go to vitamin cottage or another natural grocer and get flax seed oil.take a spoon full a day. Much less harmfull then laxitive(I would recomend not taking laxitive, espicaly if your pregnant) & its got the omegas that is so good for your skin & baby!  It will give you the good healthy floaters you want ;)

I eat fiber one every morning and I haven't had a problem since. It took a couple days but I took colace and the cereal then just cereal. If you raise your feet up, like put them on a step stool. That also helps. Drinknlots of juice and water... Hopefully something works for you

I've been having the same problems and I used baking soda and water as hot as you can drink. Recently I had to take ducolax 3 pills it took a few hours but it worked as well. My doctor told me to get that fiber stuff but I didn't listen. So good luck
