Contractions have stopped!?

Hi everyone. I am 39 weeks and 6 days!! Yesterday I was having contractions but not close enough to go to hospital. I managed to sleep through the night, and got up with my 2 older kids at 8 am for school. Felt fine other than baaad back and leg pains which I have had for sometime they just get worse daily! So I went about my day and around 8/9 PM they started up again for a bit. For about 2 or 3 hours . It is almost 3 am and I have back pain and no contractions again. I feel him moving around a bit so I know he is OK . I don't think it is Braxton Hicks either. Any ideas what may be going on or what to do? My youngest is almost 8 so it has been awhile since I have had a baby and have no idea what to expect! My oldest is almost 10 and he was 7 weeks early, my water broke and that was it until they induced me 4 days later. My daughter was almost 2 weeks late! And I was induced. I don't know what is going on!!Anyone have this problem??

It's Braxton hicks I've been getting the same pain for weeks. If they keep going away there Braxton hicks. Real contractions stay and get stronger and closer together.
