Baby is about 7-8lbs already. Thinking about this makes me scared as I don't want to have C section. But all the while I'm happy knowing my baby is growing fast n healthy. He is head down so anytime soon...

Every weight estimate I've heard has been wrong and over predicted the weight by at least a pound.  They predict 10lb babies that are born weighing 7. Take the prediction with a grain of salt more than likely it's wrong

Remember its only a prediction. They can measure bones and organs but they can't actually weigh the baby. The ultrasound sound weight prediction is based on a standard. So, the standard says that if the bones are this long and the organs are this big than the baby must be this heavy. The weight prediction can be off by up to 10%. They've been telling me my bub is "big" also, since the 28th week, so I've been doing alot if reading on it. The doctor should never force you into your only option being c-section unless your bub is for sure in distress. Just remember to talk clearly and honestly with your doc about what you want.
