Cord blood banking
Hi, could anyone tell me how far this umbilical cord blood banking is useful? Anyone has done this or planning to do now? We are confused..plz help
I'm not to sure really but I just read an article where they are using there newborn sons cord blood to rewire there first child's brain by replacing stem cells in order for him to be able to walk. And I think... say your child would develop cancer they could use this blood to treat it and it is an equivalent to bone marrow. I'm pretty sure that's semi right but have a look on google as I'm not to sure if that is just something I've heard or in fact true
