Any Plus size soon-to-be mommies??

Just wondering if there are any other plus size ladies on here? I am plus size and would love to share my experience with other ladies such as myself. I know our bodies are a little different and change differently from smaller framed ladies. I still would love to share my experience with everyone, but was hoping we plus ladies could have a forum as well.

You ladies are all a wonderful inspiration!! Im not a plus size mommy but I will be after I have this baby. I was 180 lbs when I got pregnant,  and I'm now at almost 240 lbs. I plan on getting in gear and loosing the weight as soon as my Dr gives me the green light.

I started pregnancy at 348 I'm 28 weeks and down to 315. I've developed gd, although the doctor thinks I was diabetic before pregnancy.  I'm not showing which hurts me a little.  However I recently have been able to start feeling my little guy from the outside.  The dad had been waiting so anxiously to feel him.  I'm very excited, I thought there was no way for me to get pregnant.

This is my second - (Have my daughter from before - 6, and two step daughters 8, 10) - a boy this time! 22 weeks - So far the doctor has been really happy with things. Haven't gained any yet - starting weight was 270 :-( Things are definitely harder this time - I'm about 150 heavier than I was with my daughter - most of the weight was weight I didn't lose after her and weight gained from medication. So I am trying to eat healthy, exercise is really difficult since I've had really bad hip/joint pain since about 10 weeks, walking for any length of time is just painful. Trying to be optimistic about it though, and I already have a plan for after to help start getting the weight back under control now that I'm off the meds from before. And I look pregnant - have since about week 10 I'm just thinking I'm going to be gigantic by the end since my bump is growing even though I'm not. - Sent a message over for the FB group I think it's a great idea :)

@ Gina, that's totally understandable. No one but all of us will understand the weight gain hurts the most. I didn't gain much weight until after my gallbladder removed but happy it happened while pregnant. If we can get this fb thing going on then we can give weight loss tips. I already have my lifetime change ready to go. I think the worst part for me is all my energy is gone. 5 more days to go until I'm induced!!! Cannot wait to meet our lil man!!! Good luck to all!! :-):-):-):-):-):-)

I'm a a plus size mom too 38 Weeks and 6 days didn't really show until I was 8 Months, same you couldn't tell if I was pregnant of just fat with a belly I still have to tell ppl hey I'm pregnant ok lol...i guess it just depends on the body type...this is my second pregnacy and has been a struggle my whole body hurts with my first it was way different I never had any body aches or nothing probably because I was like 100 and something pounds lighter...so I really plan on losing weight after I have this baby but in a healthy way that's why I don't even wanna get of bc cuz I was on it and it just made me gain weight like crazy..

I'm 36w3d with my second a boy now first was a girl.  I'm beyond excited and blessed.  I gained 40lbs first pregnancy and lost all that and 20 then had gall bladder removed and gained 30 back and got pregnant.  This time I've gained 45lbs and scheduled for csection Dec 2nd.  Surprisingly not huge problems besides slight raise in blood pressure.

I'm plus size, expecting my second child, first girl. I'm 28 weeks, due January 30th but since I'm high risk, docs are saying more like 38 or 39 weeks. Having some issues with this one. High blood pressure, GD, just got put on medicine for my sugar, carpal tunnel, my finger tips are constantly numb, my feet have been swelling. My belly has grown but I wish I had a cute, round baby bump instead of a B belly. Would love to join a Facebook group.

I'm plus size ftm 24 weeks with a boy. I lost about 14lbs in my first trimester but gained most of it back once the morning sickness went away. I am now +5lbs since I found out I was pregnant. I'm trying to keep the weight gain to a minimum or none at all per the doctor. I try and be active everyday and not "eat for two" it seems to be working so far. I would love to join a Facebook group for ladies like us!
