My sister had a couple beers at the end of her pregnancy.... You crave what your body needs.... Try non alchohlic beer... Tastes almost the same.... But I'm sure one beer at pretty much the end of your pregnancy won't harm the baby.... Ask your Dr... They might give you the ok.... Good luck

Just take a sip. They say one glass of wine per day won't hurt a child, so a sip or two of beer won't hurt him/her either. Don't let these people scare you. Go with your gut. Have faith! :-)

I asked my doctor and she said I could have two non-alcoholic beers a week. I only have one once a month but it satisfies the craving. It tastes the same as regular beer just next to nothing alcohol, so it's safer (like 0.006% alcohol in one beer).

Our bodies can metabolize alcohol but babies can't. There is no safe amount and everything you out into your body you are giving to your child. I get cravings for hot dogs and lunch meat and I won't even risk that. I've had 2 previous miscarriages and so any amount of risk or uncertainty is just not worth it to me.

Not that I have drank at all in my pregnancy,  but essentially its a personal decision. Think about this logically ladies. Before the 1970s it was common for women in North America to have consumed alcohol while pregnant. That means most of our parents parents likely drank a limited amount while pregnant.  Do they all fall on the FAS spectrum?  No. Also in Europe it is common for a woman to drink a glass of wine on a regular basis. I'd still ask your Dr. But if you are have a sip or two there is not enough alcohol too effect your sobriety let alone get into your blood stream it would be metabolized in the stomach. Do some research on the bodies ability when metabolizing alcohol and how much it actually takes to get into the blood stream. Sorry this is so long.

You can drink a non alcoholic beer. I crave bloody Mary's all the time and order virgin ones which is just tomato juice with some olives in it lol.

Ask your doctor!  Every woman and every pregnancy and every doctor is different.  A sip probably won't hurt, but I wouldn't do more than that without permission.

I would drink non alcoholic beer.  I was craving a diaquiri all last week. And yesterday I got me a virgin one and it was great. Honestly I doubt one beer or one sip would harm the baby. However if something was to happen to the baby after you take that sip or chug...would it be worth it.  I dont want to scare you and I wont judge you but just be safe mama.

My mum craved beer when she was pregnant with me she had to have half a small glass now and then she wasnt a big drinker or anything just lil me craving it lol I had the beer craving and wen it got really bad my hubby opened a bottle and I had the first lil sip just to satisfy the craving! That did the trick! Talk to your doctor and obviously dnt go excessive but a sip or even sip and spit it out just so u can have the taste? Ps im perfectly fine and up to the age of 13 every few months I used to get a crazy craving for beer so I would have a lil tiny bit and be ok for a few months think my body just needed something from it? Ask doctor if your worried :)

Personally i dont think one beer every once in awhile will do any damage whatsoever. I have the odd alcopop once every few weeks and i did the same with my daughter and she is perfectly fine  and very clever healthy 4 year old and im sure there are lots and lots of people who have had atleast onedrink since being pregnant.

There is no safe amount of alcohol. It's just not worth it. There is alcohol free beer out there, try that and see if it kicks your craving.
