Is it possible to find out the gender at 12 weeks?

I'm 10 weeks pregnant today and I'm having my first ultrasound in 2 weeks. So I will be 12 weeks at the time. I'm so excited to find out the gender and I hate waiting. Is it possible that I could find out at 12 weeks?

My friend had one at 13 weeks and it was accurate.  If they can't tell then most likely baby is a girl in my opinion, since I've heard boy a develop faster

Most doctors won't tell you that soon because at that early in the game girl and boy parts could look the same. I know how u feel though, my doc doesn't do gender ultrasounds til 22 weeks... Imagine the frustration of knowing you could have found out 5 or 6 weeks ago but they made u wait... I have friends and family that found out at 15 and 17 weeks weeks... I know one person that actually found out at 13 weeks. Me myself, I wouldn't wanna know that soon.

Well in my town, there is a private place that offers 14 week gender reveal ultrasounds for $75. Call around town. My Dr. wants to wait until I'm 18 weeks and I found out at 15! Yay

Well that's not right. You have every right to know. If I ask and they won't tell me, I'm going off. Lol.
