I was a coffee and Pepsi drinker before pregnancy... although my doctor said to cut back as long as your not consuming super high amounts I think your fine.. I have 2-3 cups a coffee ever morning  (folgers 1/2 caff) soda no longer taste good to me, but if I happen to have one I just drink an extra glass of water and skip my sugary desert that night :) enjoy yourself a soda!

I am a pop drinker. Dr told me a can a day is ok. Then I found out I had GD and I had to switch to diet which was hard at first. I found diet cherry Pepsi tasted the best. Lol!!  But it only comes in two liters. Lol!!

200 mg a day is what i'm told. I think that's like 1 small coffee or a few sodas. I think sodas are about 60 mg i saw once and i think that was on a bottle so 1 every now and then will be fine, unless you're told not to by your dr.

it was even suggested to me to drink a carbonated drink during my 3-day high carb diet before my 3-hour glucose test.. 1 a day is okay.. some say avoid the caffeine, some say 200 mg a day is okay, etc.

I drink soda every now & then, I still still coffee, so it all just depends on you & your baby.. your medical condition, etc.

my OB says it's not a problem as long as you're not chugging them like you would water.. and that has a lot to do with the fact that they have so much sugar & stuff in them. I'm drinking mt. dew as we speak lol

you'll get mixed opinions about it, but I think you're fine.. unless you have a medical condition that says otherwise. (((:
