how much did you gain by 7 months?

So I had my 28 week check up today and gained a bit of weight since my appointment 4 weeks ago. At the start of the pregnancy I was 113 pounds and I'm now at 138 so a 25 pound weight gain overall so far. My doctor said I should be fine since I was underweight in the beginning she said that an overall 40 pound weight gain would be healthy for me but I'm just worried because I still have over 2 months to go and I know this last trimester is when the baby will double in size and I will gain the most as well. I just feel I'll go way over that mark. I feel like everyone thinks I'm crazy cause I'm pregnant so I shouldn't be so worried about it but I've just always been so obsessed with my weight I can't help it. So my question is how much overall weight did you ladies gain by your 7 month mark?

My first- started at 120, ended at 160. ALL put on in last 8 weeks!
Now- started at 135, week 29 now at 148. Trying to watch it but on bed rest with broken leg and ortho Dr said I need extra calories to work on my bone healing too as well the normal extra for baby.  I don't want to surpass 160 :/

At my 29 week appointment, I had gained 13 pounds.  I started overweight, so I've been pretty careful this time.  I also look all baby.  My face hasn't gotten any fuller,  no swelling in my ankles.  It's all just in my belly.

Thank you so much for the responses! :) and I dont know if gender makes any difference but we are expecting a boy maybe that explains some of it but probably not lol. The only other thing that confuses me about my weight gain is that at my ultrasound I had last week they said the baby weighs about 1.3 pounds. So when I hear that I think to myself well what about the other 24 pounds I gained?! I did go up a cup size, but other than that I feel like I'm all baby, and other people claim that I am as well, unless their just saying that cause they don't want me to get upset lol. And its good to hear from some of you that are just like me in the sense of dreading the scale. I've just always been weird about weight even before pregnancy even though I was considered under weight, not everyone understands it. And when your used to always being the same weight then suddenly you gain all this weight at what seems like a short amount of time its just hard to adjust to. I guess as long as babies healthy though thats all that should matter. Hopefully these next two months fly by and I don't gain a crazy amount! Especially since I'll be at my biggest during summer months there will be no covering it lol.

I gained 25 with my first but was pretty overweight before I had her... I got really healthy and started working out in January of last year and lost 60lbs but have now gained 14lbs and I'm 23 weeks... it is really hard every time I get weighed or step on the scale at home because I promised myself I wouldn't gain this much so fast but my Dr said it looks like all belly and boobs... it it wasn't for my belly I could still wear my regular pants because my legs are still exactly the same size... I was told not to worry so I'm trying to just balance my crazy cravings with smart healthy meals..  but pizza is so good right now ;-)

I feel the same way! I just had my 28 week check up today and I gained 18 pounds. My doctor even re weighed me to make sure it was right so I felt horrible. But she said even though at the beginning she only wanted 25 pound gain total she was ok that I was going to pass that. I worry about gaining too much and having a hard time getting it off after but I keep trying to convince myself that this is normal! And I don't know about you but my chest had tripped in size so I'm telling myself that 8 of the 18 pounds is all there. Haha. Makes me feel better.

I'm also 29 weeks and have gained 26lbs. My dr isn't concerned so that makes me feel better.  It's ALL in my belly which helps me feel better about it also. I have been really worried lately with how much I've already gained and knowing that I still have 11 weeks left but have found reasons to not worry and just enjoy the pregnancy as well. I know a girl who gained 60 lbs during her pregnancy and is now down to her tiny pre-preg weight.  It's going to be ok! They say you gain what your baby needs and it's just more weight for some women.  I'm glad I'm not the only one who has had these worries!

I'm not 7 months, I'm about to be 6 months and I've gained 13 lbs so far. But I'm like you and I worry about it all the time. Everyone says not to. That I should just enjoy being pregnant and indulge. But then everyone always makes comments at the same time like how my face got fuller and whatnot. It's annoying. I gained a lot with my first and even tho it came off, I'm older now and I don't want to add to the stretch marks and get any loose skin. Plus I'm going to be 7-9 months pregnant in weather that I can't hide my body in. If I keep gaining 1 lb a week like I've been since week 11 I'll have gained 29 pounds at the end but I remember with my first I gained like 2 lbs a week in the last 6 weeks.

I started out at 135. I currently weigh 170! So 35lbs! At my 28.6 appt I had gained 32. My last appt at 30.6 it was 35. I'm currently 33 weeks today and have an appt tomorrow so we will see. I have an obsession because with weighing myself everyday. I know I know I shouldn't, but I've already went over what I wanted to gain and have already gained more than I did total with my daughter, which was 29lbs total.
