Sharp pain on the top of my foot

So I have this spot on my left foot that feels like a vein or nerve and when I brush on it by accident it is extremely painful.   Like debilitating pain that last for a few seconds.  I asked my doc about it and he had no idea what it could be.  Anyone have something similar? My left hip also hurts alot...not sure if its connected.

you're welcome! & oh yeah!! see if your insurance covers Chiropractic care..

I took x-rays for a chiropractor after I graduated & there were quite a few pregnant women who went there, all the way up until they delivered.. I plan on checking with my insurance company too!! ((:

Oh ok cool. Thanks so much.  I am worried about gettimg bigger with my faulty hip also. I hope it pops back into place and acts right before then.

I've had that feeling before.. I went to school for Radiology Tech., and I asked (because I assumed) it was a bone, BUT from what I understood.. they always told me it was just a rolling vein..

I'm petite, don't have that much fat/muscle or whatever so my veins would just kind of roll around? lol if that makes any sense.. and obviously sometimes they get pinched, which caused that almost shocking pain I'd feel on top of my foot.. I've even felt it on top of my hands!

so, whenever I had to get an IV, they'd always look at my veiny hands and I'd say NOPE, those hurt!!! lol it's fine, you'll be okay, but as far as the hip I'm not sure.. my hip "pops" or "clicks" .. I've had x-rays, nothing there, and my doctor didn't seem too concerned.. I have a feeling the bigger I get they'll start worrying then!! lol ((((:
